How to Remove Laptop Skins

It’s not uncommon for people to want to remove the skin from their laptops. Maybe they’re trying to get a new look, or they just want to clean it up. Whatever the reason, it’s not as difficult as you might think.

There Are A Few Things you’ll need before You Get Started:

  • A sharp knife
  • A cutting board
  • A laptop

First, you’ll need to find a corner of the skin to start peeling. It’s important to find a corner that’s not too thick, or you might have trouble getting the skin off in one piece. Once you’ve found a corner, insert the blade of the knife under the skin and start to peel.

The skin should come off fairly easily, but if it’s giving you trouble, you can try heating up the area with a hairdryer. This will help to loosen the adhesive that’s holding the skin on.

Once you’ve peeled the skin off, you can throw it away or keep it to use as a template for cutting a new one. If you’re going to cut a new one, trace the outline of the old skin onto the new one and then cut it out.

Now that you have your new skin, it’s time to apply it to your laptop. Start by peeling off the backing and then aligning the skin with the edge of the laptop. Once it’s in place, use a credit card to smooth out any bubbles.

And that’s all there is to it! You now have a brand new laptop skin that looks great and protects your investment.
